One of the best products we have used is the Abena Shower Cap for our Darcy who lives with Down syndrome. He is a very easy going boy however, when we wash his hair with shampoo and water, he lashes out and gets extremely upset. It's the only time he has ever lashed out physically towards us. I've tried dry shampoo but it just doesn't work. Then I discovered the Abena Shower Cap and wow!! What a game changer. The fact that we can wash his hair thoroughly without having to use water and without having a residue left behind is so good. They are easy to use and Darcy loves it. He thinks it's great and even has started massaging it himself when it's on. He loves the funny faces he can pull with it and we get to wash his hair safely and without and issues.
